I spend a lot of time looking at flowers. Here’s a few I photographed over the last few years. I photograph all over this neighborhood.
NO ONE objects other than Ross Gentry. I’ve met so many friendly people who tell me about their flowers. I use a variety of lenses. Sometimes I use my HUGE lens. In the courtyard, I either use my 50 macro or 28-135 zoom, when I can’t get close enough. This also applies to some trees and leaves.
Mostly APARTMENT 6: With the blessings of Alison MacKenzie, the tenant. Prior to the Gentrys moving in, I often helped water and weed. Ali and I would talk outside, after she came home from work. We had a lot of fun hanging out. Once upon a time.
These are mostly posted chronologically, per apartment.
APARTMENT #10 by the tree in the corner. This rarely blooms and for a very short time frame. The sun was shining brightly and it was windy. Yet the background is dark and the details clear. That takes TIME, SKILL and lots of photos!
APARTMENT #7 (also in front of #8): June 23, 2013. I posted the closeups image #5 and 6. They don’t even look like flowers. People love these! I only included the building to show how an average photo looks. Use a macro lens and get close to create a lovely image. The closer, the better.
Gotta stand really still!! Not be shaking because Ross Gentry just questioned what I’m doing!
